This morning I visited the Tractor Supply Store in Oakridge NC. I’ve been going to this store for years and never had a problem. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. This morning, I purchased 9 buckets of hydraulic fluid. (I usually buy this fluid by the pallet from this store and the store on Eugene St. And receive a discount). On this occasion, the manager, Addison Adams, was called to do the standard “override”. He looked at me and said, “this is the last time we’re gonna do this!” I said that’s fine, I’ll just go to another store. He then said; “ I’m going to call those other stores and let them know not to give you any more discounts because it’s not fair to other customers.”. I explained to him that I usually purchase this fluid in bulk and usually receives a discount due to the quantity. He repeated this same thing several times in the presence of other customers. It became so degrading and embarrassing that I told them to just charge me the regular price. I don’t want a discount anymore. I want to pay full price! So I paid the full price for the fluid and left the store. This could have been handled with more tact.

I get that we're in a pandemic and people are stressed out, but the customer service with one gentleman here was terrible. Everyone else was fine. I already don't really want to walk into a big box store but I needed some stuff the same day so I did an in store pickup. I'm not going to get into specifics but I won't be back to this store. I'll probably just wait for shipping next time I need something. I hate leaving bad reviews but this was just terrible. Three stars for everyone else and the prices.

Hopefully you called law enforcement. If not I recommend doing so... If they have not responded yet, they are probably doing their die diligence to protect and serve in other matters. They are people just like you and I and survive off of the tax dollars paid by us citizens. Crime is everywhere and it is hard for them to be every nowhere at once. Continue to contact law enforcement and I am confident they will arrive as soon as possible. God bless
