A long overdue review… we had an amazing night here with our friends. Food was stunning and presentation was fabulous. We were really lucky and got a table by the kitchen. Watching top-notch chefs cook food and prepare dishes was like watching a big show. Very memorizable. I gave four stars only because the table service could better to make our tabletop more organized.

Unarguably the best fine dining in LA. They are currently doing the 8-course menu for $250, with the option of additional items such as oysters, uni custard, and salt crusted spot prawns. I would not skip out on these additions because they were so delicious! Generally, tasting menus usually have a handful of courses you find fault with. This is not the case with Providence- every course was executed without any flaws. We were there for 3 hours, but it never felt long nor did we feel rushed. Pacing was perfect.

The finest dinner experience I've ever had. It offers the absolute best sea food anyone can find on the West Coast. The service is straight out of a movie, and everything is incredibly clean. They even offer you a little gift bag as a souvenir for the evening. The meal will last around three hours and take you on a ride of savors. If you have the time and money, and know you'll be in the area, consider booking this place long in advance.

Two Star Michelin fine dining restaurant by Michael Cimarusti. Situated on Melrose Avenue, Providence is reminiscent of fine French restaurants with white linens, plush chairs and offers a prix fixe menu centered around an assortment of fresh and sustainable seafood. Flavors are balanced and each dish is beautifully presented. Signature dishes include the uni egg and langoustine. Service is professional and efficient (although could use with a bit more warmth). Wonderful place to celebrate an anniversary or other special occasion.

Usually while enjoying a wine pairing dinner , you get one glass per course . And sometimes a glass of champagne or prosecco when you arrive at your table
Reservation needed, but probably could walk-in at the bar
For lunch, you do have a menu apart from the tasting menu. The tasting menu for dinner varies from 120 to 240. Worth every penny.
They have valet. I can't remember the price, but no more than $15
No.
This restaurant is currently open. You can go anytime with reservation
You can order cocktails, or non-alcoholic cocktails or soft drinks, with your meal if that is your preference.
I think it should be fine, they're not uptight as long as you look presentable
They do have a PDR however I don't think it seats 14.
I would definitely recommend calling for a question such as this.
We were there for 4 hours once and had no idea. Time and space ceases to exist when you're in Providence.
It's on the North West corner of Melrose and Cole
I'd say business casual - suits and formal wear aren't required, though wouldn't feel out of place. I wouldn't wear shorts or tank tops etc
