My wife and I consume many sandwiches..... so many. We try shops all around SD. The turkey sandwich here is the best sandwich we have had in north park. Generously sized and on their own bread and custom smoked meat! No commercial bores head meat here, just their own house smoked turkey. Yum!

The Wise Ox is one of those rare, incredible foodie spots because it nails the following: quality, consistency, service, and of course, taste. I go for the sandwiches, namely the Philly cheese steak (won't find a better one this side of Philly) and the burger (dare I say the best "fast-casual" burger in town)! EVERY SINGLE.TIME. the food is amazing. The value that I've found in all of the Trust Restaurant Group spots is they have an uncanny ability to pack so much flavor in every single bite so that empty feeling your can get for "paying too much for too little" doesn't exist and you'll be happy you visited. The menu is restrained which keeps all the incredible choices a *little* easier to sort thru, even though you'll be tempted to try every item after your first sandwich. If you're looking for a break from mundane sandwiches and something that will leave you satisfied, go to the Wise Ox. And even though I haven't tried all of their butchery items, I can vouch for the variety of quality choices you'll see when you enter.

This place is phenomenal! I’m so happy I found this venue. They have a great selection of quality meats, wine, and sauces. Their sandwiches were so delicious I almost bought extra for my next meal. If you are into grilling, smoking, or cooking I highly recommend checking this place out. The customer service was great and they even have a monthly meat box you can pick up that contains a variety of their best cuts. Highly recommend checking them out!

Great butcher spot! Guys were helpful and quick with a dry aged monster tomahawk. I definitely recommend for a great meal!
