EJ was our guide for the day and did an OUTSTANDING job putting us on the fish. My son was out to a blazing start with about a dozen trout brought to hand in the first hour using nymphs. I caught up some later in the day using dry flies and stripping. With more float trips like this, we could get better at landing fish. Combined we brought in about forty fish with a dozen more almost to the boat. EJ is a brilliant guide with great experience and skill, very worthy of his Orvis sponsorship. I will use EJ again on my next float trip on the Smith River in Martinsville.
