Sooooooo bad. Almost 2 years and my PD finally realized he had represented the other party in another case.

Why Are They So Rude, Like They Would Answer The Phone And Hang Up As If It Isn't A Legal Matter. Drag Cases On For Months And Have Everyone In On It. So Please If You Can Put Aside 35 to 100 A Month Find A Lawyer To Put On Retainer Because Leaving Your Life And Freedom In These Crooks Hand You Will Be Locked Up For Ever For A Traffic Ticket THEY DONT CARE. 0STARS WORST PP(PUBLIC PRETENDERS) Everrrrr Stay Dangerous Y'all

Questions & Answers

Is there another phone number to contact public defenders office as their message says they are closed.

No, public defenders are not available after 5:00 pm. Call the PD number and press 9 if your inquiry is court hearing related. Then follow the prompt directions.

Do I have to be present at my arraignment?

Yes, unless you're attorney waives your appearance. In that case, you would be notified. It's always best to call and ask if you are unsure. If you cannot reach your attorney in time, definitely go to court.

Good luck getting an answer 'if' you're in Brevard County. BEST to call PD office & speak to the secretary. You'll usually be told they're on another call, not in, yada yada. You'll rarely get answers to questions unless it has to do with a court date. If the secretary tells you she'll call you back with an answer, DON'T hold your breath, most won't call you back. Simply put, you get what you DON'T pay for.😉 However, taxpayers DO pay their salaries so PD's aren't exactly free.
