I really enjoy coming to this library. I’ve never noticed the noise because I don’t stay and read. The staff are so kind and helpful. They go out of their way to find what you need. I like to use the website as I’m usually looking for a particular book. I put it in the queue and get an email when it’s ready for pick up. Unless it’s new and highly popular it doesn’t take long. Sometimes I get a notice the same day. I haven’t been to the book sale which was last week - the place was super crowded… maybe next time! Great place

This is my go-to library because of where I live. Super clean facility, librarians are very helpful. Curbside worked great during quarantine. However have to agree, it's noisey. Way too much phone usage. Folks will sit in groups and talk in normal tones. When there is a children's event, very loud. Maybe employees are told to ignore? I go to read & relax. That means I avoid the crowds.

Libraries serve the communities in so many more ways than just books, and this one is no different. I am always so pleased to see how many different activities are going on when I visit. Not only is the space itself used for so many wonderful purposes, but the library itself puts on tons of fun events - i'm always a little jealous when at the cool events for children or teens. This isn't just a place to rent books or movies, it's also a community space. The building itself is wonderful, with a beautiful archway with lots of trailing flowers. I always enjoy visiting.

The library is usually clean and kept up well/tidy. Wish they had more study areas/desks for people. Typically the 4 cubby desks are usually always taken so then you have to go to the back of the library which is typically loud and oftentimes people don't follow the no phone policy so its bunch of distractions.

Is this the title of a book? You can see what books are in the collection -- even have books transferred from other branches -- by going to "nhc library" online. You'll need your library card to logon. I checked... At this moment, there are copies on the shelf in Myrtle Grove and Pleasure Island branches, either of which could be transferred to Northeast. There are also several copies checked out that will be returned soon. (8/30/2018)
Yes, please come visit us and we can provide you with your library card number. A replacement card is also an option. It costs $1 to replace it.
Just give them a call.
Yes...they have a copy center and then staff is awesome about helping...there is a charge...I think maybe 0.10 cents a copy? Not exactly sure
You go to the library website and then log into your account and under your account you can check on fines are the due dates of the books.
