We've always wanted to go and I'm so glad we stopped. The place is still beautiful and maintained, very educational for all ages. Everything from the gardens to the rooms are still well kept. The tickets are affordable and you can have a guide or walk around yourself. I think the place would be enhanced if more same-era furniture and decor were in the rooms as most were empty. I would advise to go on a cool day as there is no air conditioning in the entire building and the heat can easily become intense.

Great tour! We did the audio option where we could listen on our phones and pause/resume anytime. Really nice staff too. Beautiful grounds

This is a must! Full of history! The staff is incredibly sweet and helpful. We took the self guided tour, and every floor is absolutely amazing. Definitely a must do in downtown Wilmington.

I visited on a Sunday at 2:30pm. It was not crowded. I did the self guided audio tour. It was very thorough and organized. It took you through each room of the house as well as the slave's quarters. It was very informative and I enjoyed learning about the history. They have guided tours and I wish I had done one, but missed the last one of the day. Wilmington is rich in history and I would highly recommend you check this out.

Haunted? No. Historic and in need of restoration? Yes. Excellent audio tour however beware there are 5 flights of stairs in case you have knee problems. Definitely worth seeing.
In the building (restored carriage house) next door.

There is a charge for admission. The admission prices can be found by visiting bellamymansion.org. They have the hours and prices in the footer of each page (at the bottom), and they do have various discounted prices listed.
The Mansion itself is not accessible however there is a full-length video available in the visitors center which is accessible for those who cannot take the tour. I'm a volunteer.
