One of the finist golf courses I have ever played. I have played golf in many states, including Hawaii, and I have played this game many years. If you are looking for bells and whistles; Great Oaks is not for you. If you are looking for great conditions, layout, scenery and a peaceful round of golf; this is it.

I would not even give this establishment 1star if there was an option to choose ZERO! My family and I were so happy a few weeks ago to become members and come to find out it was a terrible decision! Terribly rude staff unwilling to listen to guest complaints and concerns. Myself and my family were treated less than each time we went to the pool just constantly being nit-picked at and made to feel as if we were an inconvenience there and didn’t “fit in”. I demanded a refund for the hundreds of dollars we paid and we will NEVER give Greats Oaks our business again. Highly recommended Auburn Hills over this place any day! I want to be a part of an establishment where everyone is made to feel welcomed and treated with kindness and you will not find that at Great Oaks!

Great Oaks stands on its golf course merits, no bar, no restaurant, but a fantastic layout and well maintained, good value too. Front side longer and wider, back tight and some tough greens. Lots of wildlife.

4 star golf course in any market in the US. Add in the fact it's only $35 and we played without seeing another person with conditions of a private club (bunkers and greens were especially good) and golf digest would rank this moves up to 4.5 star range. Great layout and fun to play
