Well kept overlook along the Blue Ridge Parkway. Make sure you look for wildlife such as turkeys and deer in the adjoining.

We always love camping at Rocky Knob. Don't mind the rustic camping, great camp host, most sites will accommodate. You pick out your site, drive out & come back in the opposite direction. Make reservations, not a problem. Bathrooms are clean. We usually come here a couple times a year. Blue ridge is beautiful anytime of the year.

We camped here and really enjoyed our time! Fun spot, would visit again. Great location for traveling to hikes and other sight seeing spots. The camp ground was well maintained and the staff was friendly and attentive.

Nice large Campground. Camp hosts are always super nice people. No hot showers here. Plenty of hiking available. Short distance to a couple of Wineries and the town of Floyd, Va that’s well worth your visit.

The prices are low and have free primitive camping as well....Last I paid was 25.00 per night.
The information I have says 20 to 55 feet. They have 3 sections. Most large Rv trailers stay in section A . Section B can fit tents and small campers, Pop up, etc. Section C is generator free. Mostly tents back there.
Now closed for the winter. I think they are open from April through October and there is a fee to camp.
30 days maximum allowed per year. All in 1 Blue Ridge Parkway campground or combined in all 8 Blue Ridge Parkway Campgrounds.
I can only speak for the men's facilities, but there are no showers. Recommend bringing your own TP as well.
