If you’re visiting Floyd, if you’re enjoying the blue ridge parkway - El Charro has great tacos, a welcoming environment, good drinks, big portions and reasonable prices. Yes, there are days in Floyd when this is the only open restaurant - It Is Still Delicious! Definitely worth the stop.

Had a shrimp taco salad. Only had shrimp, cheese and lettuce in it. Be better if it had some beans and more mixed salad, maybe rice. Service was good and prices not bad. The salsa was to runny for me. I like it more chunky. Ice tea was excellent. I'll go back and try something else.

My friend and I are connoisseurs of Mexican food. We know what authentic and fresh food tastes like and unfortunately, this is not it. Our service was okay and the restaurant was pretty clean. Our margaritas, which happened to be on special, tasted like pure sugary syrup with no alcohol whatsoever! The food was subpar as well as the prices! It's a no from us!
