How long are the trails

There are basically 2 trails, a 1 mile loop trail around the falls and a 3 mile out and back to the top of a hill

are there any places to swim.

What is the brick structure just left of the bridge?

A limestone furnace. It was used for smelting iron. Around the base and river bank are a lot of colorful(deep blacl, brown, green, and blue) glass looking stone. Its called "slag". A by product of smelting iron.
