Dissappointed in the service. Not enough registers. Went to pick up a ring I had sized and took over half hour to pay because if lack of registers. At least 15 people working and only 2 registers during a sale and it was chaos. Not fun.

My girlfriend and I went into Fred Meyer in CdA looking for a promise ring, kind of just looking around at different places. When we asked to see a couple rings they were out of our price range and the lady helping us seemed very annoyed that we asked for something less expensive. When my girlfriend found one that she liked we felt very pressured to buy it and the warranty etc. When checking out, the ring needed to be re-sized and we asked to have it before Thursday September 2nd which was over a week away, they said that would be possible. When calling to confirm it was going to be done before then, both lady’s that I talked to on the phone we’re very rude and said it wasn’t going to be done until after 2pm on the 2nd. Very unhappy with the customer service.

I came to Fred Meyers jeweler in couer d Alene to get my fiancé’s engagement ring that I purchased in Cancun with a special tanzanite stone to be reset in better quality diamonds that would fit the wedding band I purchased at Clark’s. Clark’s is an upscale jeweler in downtown cda and so I took their CAD design and same quality S1G diamonds to refusing my fiancé engagement ring thinking they would be a little cheaper, I was promised a discount of up to 45% if purchased on their sale date, so gave them the ring to get a estimate explaining how time sensitive it was to the wedding on 8/28. Fred Meyers took the ring and called me days later with the estimate of twice what Clark’s estimate was, I was astonished and then they also told me they would not be honoring there promise of the 45% discount. Besides all That bad news I didn’t get my ring returned in time to get it to Clark’s for them to do the ring before the wedding. Fred Meyers mgr Anna was so rude to me in the phone and didn’t care that they just ruined my plans to present this to my wife on our wedding day or the fact they were double the price of Clarke’s. This is unethical and such a scam do not buy from Fred’s they cannot be trusted and won’t care about your needs, Clark’s on the other hand will bend over backwards fir you as well get better quality diamonds for a better price then Fred’s. My fiancé was in tears but Fred’s didn’t care they made a promise and were not bothered tat all to not do the right thing and honor the agreement
