Great food. Nice ambience. Tucked away near the Plaza and has great indoor and outdoor seating. The food is delicious. We tried a couple of New Mexican specials and they were excellent. I am taking away one star just for service. Service could be with a smile.

The patio isn't officially open, but they were kind enough to accommodate myself and my travel companion. The food was great. Happy hour drink specials were awesome. The staff was attentive and so friendly. Definitely coming back.

What a great find on Google Maps. This was a great little gem with its entrance hidden in an alley. The licals here seem to love this place. I know why now. They have great authentic New Mexico entrees. The place was really busy but the staff keep up well. The building is in a traditional New Mexico style with the adobe look. The property was clean.

Update: 11/1/2021 - Just came back for a second time. Definitely out favorite place in Taos. The Alley Cantina is our new favorite place to eat and drink in Taos, NM. The Fish and Chips are awesome...lightly battered, thick, juicy fish, with fresh homemade tartar sauce. My wife had Chili Releno for the first time and she loved it, very flavorful and not too spicy. We are from Texas, and this place has Shiner Bock beer, so cool! There is a cool bar and pool table inside. The outdoor patio is very nice.
