The staff was very polite. Met with Leslie, Claude, Hector and Rey. They were all veterans. Had a chance to meet the founder, Mr. Irvin. Real stand up guy. This program is unlike anything I've done before. I've definitely learned to engage with people more during my time here. The best thing is that I am moving on with more knowledge to resources that are available to Veterans. I wish there were programs like this where I come from. Thank you for everything you've done to help me.

If you're a homeless veteran, this is a pretty good place to be. The owner is full of himself in my opinion, but as mentioned, good place to stay for a homeless veteran. They will and do help you get the benefits you've earned. Good case workers.

My family member was at this facility. When picking He/she up for a scheduled surgery i was completely shocked to find her/him completely covered from Head To Toe with bites, bed bug bites. When arriving at doctor's appointment I was surprised to find they were unable to have surgery due to him/her being covered with over a hundred bed bug bites staff is aware of the problem yet seem apathetic to the situation. This is a problem that can be managed yet no one has done anything.

While not a resident, I have had interactions with staff and residents for 5 years. They are dedicated and committed to restoring dignity, hope and self-determination to formerly homeless veterans. The buildings and grounds are meticulously kept. Food is very good. Great place!

In order to stay at this residence, yo eith have to have a Hud-Vash voucher or need or recieve mental health or substance abuse care or both at the same time.
The facility can always use maintenance workers
This service is not free for Veterans. You have to pay 30% of your income ( upto $580 ish max a month) to live here. Do not believe the pictures on the website. Food herw is suspect at best ( I have thrown out meals because it is and was obvious they spice up the food they serve here to hide the fact it is spoiled. The carpeting in the dorms are filthy. ( you can smell the mold and mildew in them). Oh and for 30% of your income you will not get a hot or even warm shower. This place is just like all the other places that are contracted out to civilians ( because it is always and will be a money grab first for civilians with said people always saying VETERANS FIRST!. Plus once a week we get to here the proprietor Irwin talk to us vets about what a person he is for helping his fellow vets. This clown said he spent over something like $80,000 on his last food order. $80,000 huh? So explain the milk we are seved that is up to a week past its sell by date.
That is the correct answer from Kelly curless.thank you kelly.
You have to have section 8 housong voucher or drug abuse or mental health issues. WARNING!!!! They WILL abuse the 5150 to manipulate you if are too independant. None of the qualifiers applied to me so I left. Very toxic environmemt for some. Food severed here is highly suspect.
30% of your income upto just under $600 Must have a Hud-Vash voucher or have either mental health or drug use to qualify for residency
They really don care where you come from just as long Irwin (the CEO) and his employess can falsify that you need mental health or substance abuse care. If you tell them that you have one beer a week they will flip that intp diagnosing as an alcoholic to get into the facilty so The CEO can get his $40 dollars a day from the V.A. during your stay plus 30% of your income
No guarantee that the Veterans will get them. NONE
