My kids (ages 7 and 8) absolutely loved this park. The splash pad was on all day and it's right next to a covered playground. There are a few ramadas, all taken by parties and there are not many benches or tables. The restroom was clean. The boat rental window was open and my kids loved the duck shaped noisy although we didn't rent one. I did see a few homeless people but they stayed away from the playground area and weren't a problem in any way. There was an elote cart and got 2 large and 1 small cups of corn, I paid $13 and honestly, they weren't very good. Also at the boat rental window, they sell soda, powerade, and chips. I bought a powerade (very small bottle) and it was nearly $5. Next time, I'll bring a small cooler. We'll definitely be coming here often.

Pleasant, open walk around the lake--quickly accessible from parking area on the west side of All American Way, which runs through the park. We saw a lovely selection of birds, as shown. I don't plan to come during high temps, as it's not highly shaded.

I highly recommend Kiwanis Park! Hence, this park offers miles of wide sidewalks for speed walking and or jogging! Many individuals here may enjoy a meal while overlooking the lake. Personally, I like speed walking here and sometimes make random conversation w/ fellow pedestrians. The only complaint I’d like to mention focuses toward homeless individuals. Today, I saw 2 homeless teens at this park sleeping on benches. I think policemen and or patient advocates should visit all public parks to aid in providing free-of-charge resources to prevent the continuation of housing hardships. I nearly probed a homeless teen about his situation but reconsidered when he looked upset (I’m a former BH Case Manager). In short, the only disadvantage regarding this site is oriented toward homeless individuals sleeping here. Excluding this, I highly recommend Kiwanis Park for puppy play dates, exercising, fishing, and picnics, socializing!

Safety is the number one concerned.
To go to the park no. If you are looking to reserve a cabana, or use a paddleboat, or a bike, or fish, then the fees vary.
Absolutely. If you need a covered area, reach out to the park ahead of time.
Plenty of parking in all areas.
Do you rent paddle boats
Swimming is not only against the rules but highly inadvisable as the lake is enclosed in a steep cement barrier.
