I give this store 5 stars in particular because of two 5 star pharmacists - Amy and Jeremy. I wish all pharmacists were like these two.

1. I never, ever get a call when my prescription is ready. Only on last day before meds are put back on the shelves. 2. I was ignored at the drive thru picking up prescriptions and the clerk took the car that came after me. Walgreens will no longer get my business. They have lost a customer.

I dislike making negative reviews, but this drive through rapid test experience for travel was not good and I must share. The website information does not match customer service information provided by the employees in the pharmacy. Once we booked the test online, a confirmation email was sent that noted if we didn’t have a car to call the pharmacy to make arrangements. While driving in an Uber to the pharmacy, I called Walgreens to make arrangements. However, the phone was busy and we could not get through so we got dropped off at Walgreens on Southern in Tempe a few minutes early to arrange what we thought would be walk through of the drive through or testing inside. The Pharmacy attendant was super condescending and said she couldn’t provide the test by walk through as that would be too dangerous for us to be around cars (there was no cars in the line up) and she wouldn’t provide the test inside the building. I told her what the confirmation email said and she said that wasn’t true and that if we had called she simply would have cancelled our appointments. We called another Uber and found a lovely driver that drove us through the drive through, and the rapid test appointment proceeded and the attendant was now able to serve us, however it was very awkward and mechanical. Here my family sits at the airport 24 hours later after taking a rapid test. We have not received the results by email from Walgreens The Walgreens attendant said the test results come back very quickly. Longest usually 4 hours, but could possibly be 20 hours if they are super busy and 24 hours worse case scenario. The three of us had enough waiting as our flight is in 3 hours. We went to the airport and paid $250 each at a Xpress Check in Phoenix Sky Harbour airport for results within an hour. The attendant here was lovely and we told her our story. She told us she hears the same story many times a day. As I finish this last sentence, our test results were returned! I now cannot trust Walgreens.

Every single time I come to any locations in Tempe... I have an issue. And this time they arnt accepting cash at 2 locations every single time I have to go to multiple locations to find what I need. At this moment 4:35pm 1/25/2022 BOTH MILL AVE, & McClintock. Are only accepting CASH. Every single time I have a problem. This time it's not the self righteous WOKE STAFF.
