Positive: The only thing I regret not making sure us there was a pool. Great location to downtown, walkable to anywhere. The room was clean and very spacious. I would stay again. Staff was great too!

The rooms and hotel were nice and walking distance to Chase field. Staff was also friendly. Reason for 3 stars was the parking situation. Valet is $37 per night to park your car which is insane but it’s the only option you have. I would have stayed somewhere else had I have known that. The business next door to the hotel almost had our car towed because valet parked our car on their property. Wouldn’t stay here again only for the parking situation.

We stayed here during Fan Fusion with our two kids under 5 and we had the best time. Room was excellent, breakfast was amazing. We could easily walk to the Fry's a few blocks away. Unfortunately, all the fast food restaurants associated with the university were closed all weekend. The only other mild inconvenience was having to use valet parking. But that's obviously the norm for a downtown hotel. It shouldn't have been an issue, but between kids, toys, clothes, diaper bags and costumes it was difficult to haul it all in, especially since all the carts had been used and not returned to the lobby! But that's not the hotels fault and they apologized profusely.

Fantastic place to host an event! Friendly staff, accessible amenities including the well-stocked gift shop. shoutout to Sierra who was especially friendly and kind. It’s too bad this property doesn’t have more meeting space. We were impressed.

Great drawback of the hotel and no drawers. Wonderful place and staff.
The Hampton Inn Downtown Phoenix at 77 East Polk Street does not have a parking garage however, there are metered parking as long as there is no bag over the meter you can park there from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. and there's an app available that you can take a picture of an pay for the meter right from your room or we have valet parking which is $34 per night and then there are other parking garages within a two-block radius which is usually about $14 per night... I hope this information helps you and anybody else it's reading it, as for me I am head of security for Hampton downtown Phoenix
