This facility and its staff are nothing short of a miracle! I have tried so many times to stop using drugs and up until I began treatment here, I have failed fantastically. The staff here are kind, empathetic, compassionate, patient, understanding, and supportive. The medical team is attentive, proactive, and beyond knowledgeable. They work as a team to support you and your recovery by giving you the tools you need to succeed. I am who I am now because of the people that work here and I will forever be a better person because of them. I owe them everything.

Structure good. Opportunity to build recovery community. Inconsistency with quality of group leaders and counselors. Not good system in place to deal with client grievances. Protocols and rules enforced inconsistent enough to trigger vulnerable clients. Not up to date on state of the art recovery

This place is awful & the relapse rate is extremely high with there program. If it is all you can afford & your last option MAKE IT COUNT. Do what is asked of you so you do not have to spend a year going there & then end up at a completely differently program. Kaiser CDRP is extremely strict. They're rules are absolutely ridiculous, the people running the place are goons, & the only reason this place deserves one star & not 0 is that the people who go there (other addicts) are most of time friendly, relatable & great for your recovery.

In 6 days, I will have 6 months clean. That is the longest I have been clean in the past 12 years. I have tried 4 inpatient programs, and 5 other Kaiser CDRP departments from Vallejo all the way to Santa Clara. This place went above and beyond to help me reach my goal of sobriety. They are kind, caring, compassionate, attentive, patient, and supportive. This is hands down the best program in the state. I hope you get/got the help you need!

My friend is currently in this program (for the second time) but when he goes home in between sessions he is drinking. He really needs an in-patient program instead. Does CDRP have such a program or is it up to him to find one of those on his own?

They will refer him to an outside detox for 30 days but he needs to let them know he's doing what he's doing because if he hides it then they don't know what he's doing?

Who should I call to get a referral for me to be able to attend the methadone clinic

I've been told they refuse opiod dependant patients turn them away if they test positive of benzodiazepine. Is this true

No that it is not true. As long as you try & and put effort in they will provide services. Even if you have a set back they will just move you back down to phase one(which is not as intense as phase two, obviously.)

Yes they do. They have many groups and an exceptional medical team. If you need help with substance abuse or substance dependency go to them. They are happy to help.

Does kaiser offer a drug diversion program

That ‘can’t mean anything’ they are asking for diversion programs that are required by the state as an alternative to jail time. But I’d just stick to which ever your judge offered you originally.
