Normally I really love this place and all of its associates but today I went to the Oakland location and felt like the person who helped me was rather shallow and fake. He talked really loud and didn’t ask me if I had been there before or anything. I had to ask if he could put my name into the system. He made a point to tell me it wouldn’t help and nothing i bought would be discounted. He didn’t match the vibe and didn’t make me feel welcome or helped.

I got a beautiful clear quartz with the 7 chakra stones on it. Bought it for a gift. Also bought a brass and mother of pearl dish and a crystal grid work book and grid plate. Excellent customer service.

One of my favoritest shops in the Bay Area. I visited their location off Telegraph a few years back and I'm excited to visit the Piedmont spot *very* soon. The staff were approachable, friendly and knowledgable in suggesting remedies for the "sick and tired of feeling sick and tired" issue I was having (adaptogens are awesome!!). After the loss of Elephant Pharmacy, this is my go-to for all things herbal, and it's honestly made all the better with the sweet homey hippy magickal presence that is hard to come by. Thank you for existing!

Over the years I have been coming to this spot for herbs, altar trinkets, and aphrodisiacs. love the staff here. they've always been really knowledgeable about the products, helping us with our purchasing decisions. Upon a recent visit we purchased fire staff and poi we have thoroughly enjoyed this summer. Keep up the good work Twisted Thistle!
