Lovely place. It’s picturesque, with the vineyard and mountains surrounding you. We came for the honeymooner’s flight post getting married. It’s a delight. The wines are so flavorful! We enjoyed interacting with Ashley and Leslie; they hosted us well and helped us book a wonderful experience. I recommend for anyone needing a romantic getaway but especially those who have recently married!! Try the brandy fortified wine. It’s our fav!

This place is fantastic. It is owned and operated by two lovely couples (2 brothers and their spouses). They are lifelong locals who know the area and their clientele intimately. Great customer service and fabulous wine!

Love everything about this place. The wine, the chocolates, and all the fun accessories they offer. The staff is friendly and the owners even more. The Padberg’s poured their hearts & souls into their product & catering to the locals. They invite people to their tasting room, their home, for live music performed by local musicians, hire local people to cater their picking parties, and participate in every local event possible. They are part of our community and are always welcoming of every patron, local or tourist, with open arms.

Perfect family place!!! Love heading out with family and our dogs. They have snacks, handmade BEAUTIFUL truffles, & a selection of beers if wine isn’t your thing. Their friendly staff directed me well & educated me on their wines. 100/10 recommend.

Questions & Answers

Is Vivac grapes the oldest in the US?

No. This area has a long history of grape growing, though. The Friars that came with the Spanish brought old world cuttings. Most grapes are grown in the southern part of the state, Vivac is the northern most grower.
