Just returned from 2 weeks staying at this RV park. So very nice and peaceful. Had about 25 Elk in the meadow below the campground in the late evening. Stacey was wonderful and would check in during to day to see if we needed anything and if everything was ok. This was just a refreshing location to stay at and was pretty quiet. We will definitely be returning.

This park may be off the beaten path, but that is what makes it so AMAZING! The views are spectacular. The stress just melts away. Stacey was so accommodating and helpful, checked on us several times a day. Would highly recommend for anyone who wants to unplug.

Fantastic location, well removed from any and all distraction. Beautiful scenery surrounds this little gem of a campground, and the host is super friendly and helpful. The road (around 5 miles long) is steep with many sharp cutbacks...if you need guardrails to feel safe, then it's going to be a hairy climb. There were plenty of big campers and even a Class A motorcoach, so it isn't a big deal, just be prepared. No wifi, no cell service, so get your mind right and come enjoy possibly the most beautiful night sky you will ever see!

We had a beautiful stay this week at 16 Springs RV park. It’s nestled in the middle of the National Forest and is truly one of the most serene and quiet places that we have ever been. Saw tons of elk and deer and watched birds and other beautiful creatures. Nice, cool evenings...warm days. Rain for a couple of hours made everything smell wonderful!! Highly recommend. Great host and she is very good to point you to local areas of interest! Cloudcroft was about 20 minutes away and that was a treat! Great shops and dining!! Be sure to visit the Historic Lodge! I already made my future reservations as this place gets booked up quick now!

The current order states that those coming from out of state quarantine or isolate for 14 OR the duration of your stay, whichever is shorter. Basically our governor asks that everyone coming from out of state avoid public places unless medically necessary. My campers are pretty much coming up here and enjoying the outdoors and isolating anyways so it’s not an issue. Hope this helps to answer your question. :)
The road to RV park is partially paved and partially gravel. A little steep in some areas. However, park is situated in a beautiful canyon.
Would have to call the owner of the rv park but if you are wanting to not use the rv park there are sites further down the road with no amenities but on forest property.
Prices range from 44-49 a night. You get discounts for renting by the week or the month. It’s on their website.
16 Springs offers Cloudcroft, MM camping and the chance for a digital detox by unplugging and giving the brain a chance to slow down, reconnect with nature and enjoy each and every moment for what it is. The only traffic jams are cows and elks walking around the park. Being off the beaten path, we do not have WiFi service. However, cellular service is a five-minute drive from the park.
Yes you actually can stop and fill up with water and dump for a nominal fee. Even if you aren’t camping there.
