We stayed around Christmas time for 5 days and LOVED it! The park is dog friendly and it has a dog park and run. We felt comfortable and safe. Everyone was so kind and friendly. We can’t wait to go back!

Easy stop for dry camping ($13), would stay again. Had to call to reserve dry camping spot as it wasn't showing online. The dry camping area felt a little unsafe, as if a distracted driver could accidentally hit my vehicle. I considered setting up chairs as protection. The bathrooms were clean but the men's bathroom had a weird shower setup - for shower privacy after hours you need to lock everyone else out of the bathroom. Probably not an issue because there are few campers using the public bathroom.

We stayed here during AZ' high season. As difficult as it was, staff was able to move a few things around so that we would not have to move two or three times during our week-stay with our smaller rv. Unfortunately, the paid-internet did not reach our assigned lot. We were visiting the area to connect with family members not seen in many years who own a deeded lot there as well as to look at a deeded property we were interested in. Having lived in Sun City, AZ, some years ago, and having been members of the Sun City, AZ rock hounds club, and rving, we were already familiar with North Ranch, Congress, Wickenburg and the surrounding areas. Seemingly, some who have posted bad reviews are not aware of a few things with regard to North Ranch. Lots surrounding the campground area are owned, deeded, lots, not rentals.....two sizes smaller and larger. These are not rentals, and are two separate entities as with any of the Rainbow Parks. You will see deeded lots with rv's, park models with and without Arizona rooms attached, actual stick and brick homes, and (though few left) simply bare lots with shed, used by owners when they bring their rv's into North Ranch for whatever reason. All of this said, we look forward to returning to North Ranch soon with our large fifthwheel after we close on the purchase of one of the deeded lots there later this month. Free internet at the campground? No, but I cannot remember having free internet at any of the campgrounds we have visited in many years unless we have paid double what the cost is at North Ranch, and even then told not to stream. Tengo internet is available on many if not most of the North Ranch campground sites for a small fee (daily, weekly, maybe even monthly).

Most Escapees Parks have an ice cream social on Sunday evening. Generally it's $1 a scoop.
The clubhouse is not open for activities and they do not sell soda or snacks there. There's a Dollar General and a Shell station about a 5 minute drive north from North Ranch.
"There is a plan for both a Christmas parade in December and a La Fiesta parade in February." This is from the Enercama President.
