Nice place to stay about 20 minutes outside of the downtown area. Site are not level but not bad. Good shade. Staff was very nice and helpful. Josh gave us some great info about getting into town and a few eating establishments.

For us the only positive was that is was quiet. We had a horrible spot, D5. In the back of the park between 2 trailers and a fence, all gravel. The picnic table was not by our trailer because all the utilities including sewer for the full timer were just outside our door. This was strictly a money making space. There is no pool dispite the very hot area. The only cell coverage was to sit in front of the office. Also no cable. We will not return.

Facilities were clean and well kept. Shower pressure was okay. Supplies were well stocked. Everything worked as expected. Staff and signage clearly communicated the community policies, which kept the place enjoyable for everyone. Will stay again.

Spent two nights here on our way south in order to check out the Santa Fe plaza. Although this campsite is a 20 min drive from town, it is well worth the drive. You really feel like you’re camping because you’re up in the hills, they left the natural trees amongst the sites, each site is at a slant from the next, so it feels like you are more spread out from your neighbor, and the drive is gravel. Each space has a nice picnic table and fire ring. The new owners are very welcoming and even offer complimentary coffee in the morning. There is an amazing game room, complete with an epic Johnny Mnemonic pinball machine that is FREE to play. The shower/bath room was clean and the laundry room is in good order although a little pricier than others. We were lucky to see the blood moon eclipse when we were there. Being a little out of the town makes for great stargazing!

About 45 a night, depends on your site, and yes, pets are allowed.
March and April are a bit windy, but very pleasant. It seldom gets really hot at this KOA. The nights are really cool. This is one of the nicest KOAs I've ever been to!
