BIG thanks to Families in Transition, for providing a safe place to eat, sleep and shower. In addition to, case management is also provided which helps with navigating community resources and low income housing:)

Wonderful, very helpful staff! Shout out to Selah, Melony and caseworker, Jenn! Shelters suck in general but I'd definitely recommend New Horizons if you're in need of their services!

They do great work with the homeless community providing shelter, food, and other types of assistance. I have had to stand in the food pantry line on a few occasions and the staff and volunteers never look down on you or make you feel inferior for any reason. They have a good system that makes the process easy, secure, and speedy. Since they built the indoor waiting area, people no longer have to wait in line outside during rain, sleet, snow, cold, hot, or other severe weather conditions. It's a blessing to have them in our city helping the people in need.

Yes, the Catholic Medical Center is still located in the bottom floor of New Horizons. It is open every weekday at 8am except Wednesday where it opens at 9am.
I agree with the others: call them first. It's very likely that they can use what you have. If they can't, they know who can.
M- W-F 12pm. Food pantry. M-F 1pm Bread line/
I think they have a donation phone number that specifies donations needed and other important information. Happy holidays
I dont think so because of COVID
As of right now they take new admissions on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays between 6pm and 7pm. As this policy will likely change in the future you may want to call first, if able, to verify the current policy.
On the 23rd & 26th. Bring All UR info with U 2 make sure UR butt is covered. Call them if U need 2 know exactly what's expected of/from U. Hope this is useful. Good Luck & Happy Holidays!
Depends on the day. I believe on Wednesday from 11am to 1pm
Does some1 have 2 go through New Horizons 1st? Can I get a referral from GMMH? Greater Manchester Mental Health?
As long as it's a state issued ID
I believe Mr Caron answered your question. I would add if they have anyone they see in social services: case manager, parole officer, etc. could write a note. If they are not engaged in social services, I would strongly recommend they request to see a case manager or social worker right at New Horizons. S/he may qualify for housing etc. IF the person has fears about engaging social services(I know this can be the case sometimes, might I suggest they seek food assistance at "Feed the Children" services. They are at the JFK Coliseum parking lot every Saturday rain or shine & ask only for a small donation *if* you can afford it. Even a penny is accepted. They are a faith-based organization & ask for no IDs or income verification, just if the food is for 1 or more. They are committed to feeding all God's 'children' - that includes adults. Good luck.
I have no idea, haven't heard anything about that. You should call them and ask them.
Yes, his name is Chris. Not sure of his last name, but his ex girlfriend lives in the same building that I do. From what I hear, he fell down, and nobody called for help
Yes they do. I'd call and ask when they accept donations
