I have used Akiki before and it has always been a good experience between the work done, the time, and being transparent (not trying to sell you services you don't need!) This time, however, I had an issue that was battery-related, but they wanted to be certain and do a full diagnostic. It was nearing the end of the day and Elias (the owner) kindly allowed me to come in a half an hour to closing for an appointment, and the mechanic G VERY kindly ran the diagnostic and tested the battery, which was later found to be good. I have never encountered such great service (usually, dealerships/auto shops are happy to leave it overnight to do the work the following day...) and with it being late in the day, it would have been understandable, but G really went the extra mile to do this. I will definitely return to them for future service (but hopefully not too soon!) and can recommend them to anyone needing work done.

The staff was courteous and professional. However after completing the work on my car they left all the debris and leaves in the area around the engine. They also left a mess from the oil and needless to say my radio no longer works. The engine cover was just put in place but not screwed back in place. Unfortunately I will not used Akiki facilities in the future and certainly would not recommend them.
