Before you proceed with getting a windshield replaced you need to ask yourself if it's worth having your vehicle scratched to get that new windshield. This is the trade off. In my case, I had mobile service. I walked up as the new window was being inserted. Once the tech was finished he stated that the job was done without issue and that there were no scratches. Upon inspection by myself I noticed three different locations where the paint was scratched down to the metal. As soon as I called out the scratched paint, the tech immediately went to his truck and proceeded to cover up those scratches with a paint pen. I was disappointed to find out AFTER signing their paperwork that there is a section on the receipt for VEHICLE POST-INSPECTION. The tech failed to mention this AND failed to note the damage caused from the windshield removal. These are the questions that I am curious to know: 1) Does Safelite train their techs to avoid scratching vehicles? 2) Why does Safelite not have something they can temporarily place onto the painted areas adjacent to the windshield to avoid scratches? 3) Does Safelite provide paint pens to their techs knowing that customer's vehicles will be damaged or do the techs buy their own paint pens to cover up their carelessness as to not get in trouble? At this point, I only hope that the new seal does not leak. I really don't want additional scratches on my vehicle if they have to perform any repairs. If anyone from Safelite does read this, please don't bother contacting me. There is absolutely nothing you could do to fix this. The damage is done. People just need to know what can happen to their vehicles before hand.

Never coming back to this place, I was trying to get my windshield changed due to a minor Crack, we got the appointment which took about 2 weeks, I get there the day of the appointment the get my car in, and 30ish minutes later, they come out tell me they got the wrong windshield and I'm gonna have to return the next day? I mean, I took off work to attend that appointment. Really not ok. So safe yourself some time and go somewhere else with professionalism.

Worked quickly, provided wifi so I could work remotely, and the process is pretty refined where you can pay online and manage your appointment with little fuss. The price was better than competing prices, I just hate that windshields cost so much period.

This review is for Paul who fixed the chip in my windshield two days ago. He was wonderful! My time frame was between 8-1 pm. He called me around 7:30 in the morning to remind me of my appointment that day. He also let me know he would call me again when he was 15 minutes away from our house. He called around 9:45 am and showed up a little after 10. He was very pleasant and courteous. He walked me through what could happen and explained everything. He then began to get to work on my car. I asked if he would call me instead of ring our doorbell when he was finished and he did just that. Not long after he started, I got the call that my car was finished. He did an excellent job! This was my second time using Safelite (first time in this area) and both times were excellent. The ease of scheduling online and paying in advance was wonderful. I highly recommend Safelite if you happen to get a chip in your windshield as I did!
