I always have a pleasant experience when I go here. I've been going to this location since I was a child and they do a wonderful job of putting personal/local touches and keeping it feeling homey instead of like a franchise like some other locations. Lee Ellen (manager) and Lauren (store associate) are so kind and helpful.

Most of the staff I spoke to were enthusiastic about the particular genre they were knowledgeable about. While the building itself is nice, just be mindful of traffic passing by, as I have noticed many don't care about pedestrians, one person actively speeding up as I was still walking toward the building. Manga ya and assorted popular non fiction towards the back left, music in back. The music section is twice as large as the last Barnes and noble I visited. If you're reading this in the time of the plague, they keep safe and masked, it is hygienic here.

Was racially profiled while sitting with my partner and having a conversation in the "wedding" section while looking through the books. Was asked to move away because we were "blocking other customers", even though there were zero other customers present, and we'd obviously have moved aside if anyone wanted to peruse that section. We said "We will certainly move aside if anyone comes", but the employee continued to insist that we get up and move away. The employee's name was Chris - refused to give his last name when I called him out on his racialized policing. After I asked loudly and repeatedly if he had an issue with interracial couples in the wedding section, repeated that we would move aside if other customers needed access, and insisted that he leave us alone to peruse, he eventually apologized and moved away. The burden of educating racist employees should not fall on the customers. An anti-racism training is needed for your employees, especially given that in addition to this bad review, you have multiple bad reviews from other POCs including one from a Black woman who was followed around the store while shopping. We will be sending a complaint to B&N corporate. Also, we will be back, giving the store the benefit of doubt that this was a case of one poorly educated employee. On future visits we will be especially vigilant about whether or not we are allowed to move around freely without being policed and harassed.

This is a great Barnes & Noble. The atmosphere is very inviting and friendly. The nick-nack items by the register are awesome! Lots of good stuff for kids too. The Starbucks has very nice bites to eat with coffee. I love this B&N.

If your referring to Barnes and noble i'm not sure if they have a story time for kids, but if your referring to myself i don't have any kids yet. Hope this helps
Yes
I have gotten books on tarot from this store, but it was a decade ago. If there is a specific book you want, they can usually order it for you.
You should be able to get whatever you need. Nice coffee shop too.
