People who work there are great. Very attentive to answering questions and pleasant to deal with. One thing that I would like to see return is the weekly menu choosing. We used to get printouts on what was scheduled to be served for lunch and dinner daily and get to choose what we want at the beginning of the week and submit to the kitchen. Now, you don't know what you're going to get from day to day though there are always two options for each meal. Would LOVE for that to come back.

I just appreciate how all the Nurses & Aides take such good care of my Mother*Josephine ππππ I would like the phone answered when I call. That does not happen enough. Cris is AWESOME in Activities. I am so looking forward to getting back from California. I want to be with my Mother Josephine π as soon as possible. Thank YOU One & All

We sent my grandmother here and it was absolutely TERRIBLE. Iβm a nurse practitioner and my mother is a nurse so we know what to expect for care post op. My grandmother was treated horribly. She is not incontinent and when I got there to visit her the first day she was in a diaper- I asked her why and she said someone told her it was too much work to get her on a bed pan. I asked them not to keep one on her any longer, and every single day we went to visit she was back in one. It was a fight everyday. She was there for over a week before anyone got her out of bed. She was there for PT, post op hip. I have no idea why you would keep a patient in bed for them to continue to become deconditioned? They inappropriately medicated her. She developed skin break down. These issues were brought to the attention of multiple people and every single day it was never taken seriously. She was sent back to the ED from there and I begged the hospital to keep her because I will never send her back to this place. She cried every day because the staff would yell at her. Sheβs totally with it and had family advocating for her and she still was treated poorly. I cannot imagine how poorly patients who cannot advocate for themselves are treated.

I give five stars to the staff in the business office and the activities department. They are very helpful and dedicated to the residents' well-being. The administrator of the facility is professional and keeps families informed. She has good communication skills and responds to inquiries and family concerns. I was impressed when Genesis, the umbrella organization, decided to implement a vaccine mandate in September 2021 after concerns were expressed by many families.
