I called first thing in the morning to ask about scheduling an alignment and explained I didn't have the ability to drop my car off for the day. I was told to go ahead and bring my car in because there was no wait. I got there 25 minutes later and when I arrived I was told that there was a 3-hour wait and that I should drop off my car. So they either lied to me on the phone so that I would go ahead and drive there in hopes that I wouldn't leave once I found out the actual wait time, or they lied about the wait to get me to leave my car so that they could not do an alignment and charge me for one. Either way, not good way to do business. If there's no wait when I call, I should be the first person in line once I get there.

I was originally quoted a price of $195 to change a serpentine belt in my 2006 Cadillac. The next day I was called and I was told that they would need to also put in a alternator because it had seized, and that my water pump was leaking. I immediately became concerned because the vehicle never had any other issues except for the serpentine belt. Well as you can imagine the price sky rocked from $195 to $2600.00. I told them to only install the serpentine belt and alternator. This alone cost me $1700.00 after a 300 percent mark up of prices for parts. As stated before the vehicle ran like a sewing machine. After I got the car back it would over heat immediately. I fear the mechanics had purposefully messed up the vehicle in order to get me to spend more money. After having the car looked at by another mechanic it was confirmed that the mechanics at Mavis tires and brakes had intentionally over heated my vehicle causing more expensive repairs. Research other facilities to have your vehicles serviced this place only cares about the money it can make off of you.

I called on Wednesday to get a quote for new tires for my car and make an appt. I asked if I could bring the car in earlier than noontime and he said no problem. I went in on Friday at 11 AM and was assured my car would be ready by 3:00 pm. I called at 3:30 and was told they had not even started on my car and could not even give me a time when it would be finished. I was told it was such a busy day, but they never even called me to make me aware of the situation. I went back to get my car. The lady said-I am so sorry. I said why didn't you call me. Her answer was she was too busy to call me. She never tried to reschedule or ask me what they could do so obviously they do not need my business nor my money. One star because the person I made the appt with was very nice.
