A warning: media has been doubled in price as of June 2022. No signs, no explanation, just a fun little surprise when you get up to the register. The same thousands of no name 90s CDs from 2019 are still sitting on the shelves but maybe doubling the price will make them sell? It’s honestly baffling and I’m just embarrassed for them. I wouldn’t donate media to this place. Donate to Aid for Tibet thrift store down the road on 28. As the other reviewers state the prices on non furniture items are way too high. Higher than goodwill for stuff that would sell for 25 cents. I will not be supporting this store until they lower their prices back to reality or have better stuff.

I went recently and notice that the prices on the bric-a-brac was much more “ambitious” than when I was lat there, pre-covid. There was a relatively sparse selection of not-particularly-interesting overpriced items nicely displayed. I work in a thrift shop downstate, and items we generally sell for 25¢ were marked at $2, $3, even $4. Our $5 were selling for $15. A lamp, identical to the one I’d purchased at the Kingston Salvation Army just the day before was marked $15, and another, I’d actually seen brand new at a discount store for $13 earlier in the day was also marked $15. The prices on the furniture were better aligned with reality, and I appreciate the reductions by color, though most items were the us reduced color. I do appreciate the work Habitat does and this review is based only on this store as a business.

There's great things, and they are often very reasonable priced.

Furniture is used but mostly in great condition sold at an extremely discounted price. I purchased 2 good condition couches, 2 great condition wing back chairs and a wooden TV stand for $120. Good quality wooden furniture that is hard to find these days.
Call them. They have a very small number of books. Not sure if they accept any books at all anymore.
Hello Diane. Thanks for reaching out to us. We accept gas ovens in good working order. However we do not have any on the floor at the moment. For future reference, we take donations and sell them at greatly reduced prices and then use that money to build affordable homes in our community. Check back with us as our inventory changes quickly. Thanks and good luck with your oven.
The best way is to call the store direct and set up a pick up/ drop off time.
I've bought paint from there in the past. I would call before bringing it just in case they dont accept it anymore.
Route 28 west 1/2 mile past Kenco on the right hand side
