If I could give this facility -5 stars I would. Your therapy model further vilifies people in their darkest moments struggling with substance misuse, there lack of urgency in care for their patients, and their complete ignorance to their staff needs and the needs of their patients astounds me, and is the complete opposite of what they claim their services can offer. I thoroughly consider this a fraudulent use of your time and money and to the mission statement you claim to have. We dropped our friend here because he was struggling with alcohol addiction, not only can they not meet basic dietary needs, but they withholded needed meds for current addiction detox treatment (standard first line meds) but they withhold treatment for such for upwards of days and weeks from their patients and I truly feel it's because they consider those struggling with drug/alcohol misuse issues with disdain as though their worth less then a grain of sand. You'd be better off going to the ER for detox and choosing and aftercare in-patient program elsewhere. They have truly showed through their blatant inaction that their they're to collect a paycheck without having to serve the needs of the community they offered to serve in the first place further diminishing whatever motivation they had to recover in the first place. In my opinion, your facility only serves to provide an empty dead space that helps to remind those in recovery the patient with substance use disorders their worst fear, that they feel their not worth the recovery they so desperately desire, and deserve! Good job being a deep seeded part of the problem!

If your a solid working professional looking for help this is not the place. I went to this center looking for a therapeutic and non violent environment. I was severely judged by others. I had a breakdown during night hours and the staff there made it seem like it was a problem/burden that they had to call for help because they didn't know what to do (the resident staff are not required to have a bachelors or masters). Here I was crying, telling a residential counceler how I hated myself and that I had a eating disorder and I needed to calm down. when someone has a episode of anxiety this should never be taken as a complaint .... ESPECIALLY in this field. If the Farnum team wants to contact me I will happily provide information. I am a successful individual who made it..

The Staff was wonderful, and very helpful. It was nice to go to a place that was not a 12 step program, the 3 principles was much better for me. The food was great, and there are wonderful amenities including a pool. I enjoyed every aspect of the program. Ray house especially was great, not one complaint about stabalization/ detox in Manchester either. I hope I never have to return, but as far as rehab is concerned I wouldn't choose anywhere else

Hi Karen, please call admissions at 603-622-3020 prompt 3. We look forward to hearing from you.
Yes they do
Hi Kallie, As part of the treatment protocol, we do not take messages for clients nor do we allow incoming calls to clients. Clients receive phone time during which they can place outgoing calls to friends or loved ones.
Hello Suzanne, Our Farnum Alumni meetings have gone virtual due to COVID. Please visit our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/farnumcenter/ and join our Farnum Alumni group to attend. Thank you for that great question!
Hi Michael, We would only be able to confirm or deny a client has admitted if that client signed a release allowing us to do so. Generally, clients are able to call a loved one after admitting however.
Show up if they are expecting you, best rehabilitation center in Manchester and will do your intake to help you get sober.
Yes it does.
There's no internet access there. Not for clients. There is a corded phone in the hallway typically for a few hours each evening.
Children visits are Wednesday 6-7, men's residential visits are Sunday 1:30-3, and Saturdays are women residential visits from 1:30-3. There aren't visits on stabilization or detox
Depends on how sick the individual is. Normally from 4-7 days.
They have resources ..
If you are trying to detox from the methadone you will need to decrease your dosage to under50 mgs. prior to admission.
People that go to the medical detox unit are there for 6 days.

Farnum Center 700 Lake Ave
Just graduated yesterday. Fantastic place!! 1:30pm-3:00pm on sundays.females are saturday.
You can go to 700 lake ave in Manchester or call after 8am
If you dont have insurance we were quoted $600 a day. They may have some sort of program they can offer to assist. We had a really awful experience with them. They were all about the money and not the care. I recommend the Phoenix House in Keene. Its a bit of a hike, but was worth it. We had a much better experience and it was way more affordable.
It is coed. Men and women. No smoking in the building. That's all I got for you. Not sure if you are able to go out and smoke while in the program
