The only campground we stay at when in Delta. Not large, not fancy but has a comfortable feel to it. It's in town and an IGA grocery store that is amazing. We have a 31 foot motorhome and can park in any of the campsites. There is designated tent sites as well. A clean and maintained camp that is $15 a night, which is average for a dry camp here in Alaska. Stop by if you can. Enjoy

Easy to find and beautiful site. Clean toilets also. Little close to the highway for my liking though.

Nice little campground. It is kinda noisy with the airstrip right next to it.

Had a fantastic weekend here. We rented the public use cabin. The park has potable water spigots everywhere. The cabin has electricity, so next time i will even bring a box fan as the cabin gets a little too warm, and the windows have no screens. However, I never even used bug repellent the whole weekend because there were hardly any. The cabin has 1 main room with a twin and queen bunk, a dining table, a small desk, and a woodstove. Plenty of floor space; we fit a queen air mattress and a camp pad on the floor for our kids. Plus our large dog still had room for her bed. The front room is like a tiny kitchen space with a counter and cabinets. A dry sink too if you want to drain water through it, just put a bucket underneath. We also enjoyed the day use area right outside the cabin, when our friends came and we had 12 children to entertain. It was perfect with lots of covered picnic tables and the bathroom and water spigot right there also. We spent the first day hiking Donnelly dome, only a 20 minute or so drive. Then we spent the next day across the street at the river playing with atv's and mud. The river is the width of the whole valley and the area is designated as a public brush burning area. So tons of area to explore off roading, and you have access to all the free firewood you want as drift wood and what people drop off for burning is everywhere. The only things to watch out for: The cabin is right off the main road, but the noise didn't bother us. If you use a campsite, you'll be further away from the road. If you have a large RV you won't fit. We watched several class A's pull in and pull right back out. You're not *technically* supposed to have ATV's on site. Our family were in one of the campsites close to us and had a worker stop by and tell them they could technically be fined $300 for their ATV's, but it was *okay* if they just drove straight across the road to access the sandbars, and didn't drive around the campground or harass anyone. There were a few other people with ATV's as well. (Maybe it's more laid back since the campground is run by a private company for the state?) Lastly, helicopters took off and landed from right behind the campground all day, but never at night, and most likely because of the nearby wildfires. It didn't bother us at all, in fact they were fun to watch, and when are no fires they may not fly as often. We had a great weekend and plan to camp here again!
