I started volunteering for the Bread of life feeding ministry back in 1994 and It felt good to be able to help those who actually need the help and I'm truly hoping that I could actually get back to volunteering for the Bread of life organization because I seriously love volunteering for them

I have shared my personal story and my journey with Bread of Life ministry to the needy whenever and wherever I roam across the United States. It's a story of sharing and caring for all who have a need to be nourished and nurured during a time of stress unknown to anyone who has never walked in the shoes of those who struggle or have struggled with loss of income, home, dignity and then possibly self esteem because of various circumstances and bad choices or decisions we later regret we ever made in life. Lessons learned, support is given and many return to the mainstream of life when they receive the proper support and encouragement that is needed in order to succeed bin recovery and restoring of life, income, home and positive influence for their young children or even siblings that come under our wings of protection. Support given to all our brothers and sisters regardless of stature in life, choice of religious or spiritual belief and practice, choice of who we live regardless of gender are all positive and influence required to recover instead of repeat addiction and or homelessness and loss of job. Etc. I live Bread of Life and all the concepts represented from day one. Faith is why it works and continues to grow at such a fast rste. Work side by side to promote healthy and spiritual love if all our brothers and sisters in the Works!

You do not need anything but to come to the main office where they give out food and come to the church where they have the soup kitchen where you are fed a meal. The bread of life's main address is 150 Eastern Avenue and if you go there during the day Monday and Tuesday morning they give out food there and in the evening at 5:30 at the First Baptist Church on the corner of Salem Street and Main Street, there serve a meal Tuesday thru Friday. Look forward to seeing you there.

I just moved to malden and I dont have money for food right now and I have a 14 yr old son. I already get food stamps but they run out 3 weeks in. Do I need anything to show them like my electric bill?

Not that I know of. They give a bag of food to whoever walks in. I think your son would count as two but I'm not sure. I use to volunteer there. They are good people who care about giving the best quality they can. Like a supermarket however some days are better than others. The end of the month seems to be the busiest because folks checks run out or are running out. Good luck.

What is the phone number to this church? Is this located still in Malden? Or is this church is Everett?

Bella C | Aug 27, 2018

It's not a church. It's in Malden. It has an entrance on Easton Ave across from Dunkin Donuts. There's two Dunkin Donuts it's across from the one that is at the beginning of Eastern Ave close to Main Street. There is also another entrance Behind The Dockside Restaurant. You have to be a resident of Malden to get food there. Bring your ID with you if you decide to go. You can go on Wednesday from 4 to 6 p.m. or Fridays from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. If you're not a resident of Malden and you act like you didn't know that. I doubt they will turn you away they will still give you food and then tell you where you can go for your town after that.
