Beautiful area with some fun nearby trails. So fun to see all of the dogs there! It isn’t the cleanest park, but the experience makes up for that!

It’s come such a long ways and is pretty awesome now! Still find spots where lazy owners didn’t pick up their fur-baby’s mess but all in all it’s a great spot to walk the dogs, cool them off at the end, and do it safely. Big thanks to Salt Lake improving it more and more each year!

This place is awesome. Perfect place to let your dogs have some fun. Nice trail to get to the creek at the end.. There is a smaller water hole in the first half of the trail with calm water and then a larger one with strong running water at the end. The rushing water is ice cold even though it was super hot outside.. Since there is a bit of a walk to get to the end people will leave their used doggie bags on the side of the trail and then on the way back will pick them up and dispose of them in the bins which makes sense, that way you dont have to hold on to them during your entire walk/hike.

This is a fantastic off leash park in the city that partially runs up Parleys Canyon. Its about 2 miles of trails, an easy highway of a trail with nice places for dogs of all sizes. Swimming, wading or running free this area is a dog's paradise. At the top of the trail is a fun swimming hole and creek below. There's so much history here and lots to explore. Parleys Park is very popular and packed on weekends. Keep our park beautiful by cleaning up your dog's waste-poop bags are usually provided and in the winter months the only trash cans are near the parking lot so please pack out your poop! 🐶🐩🐅🐾💩

At 2 locations along the trail: below the bridge toward the beginning, and all the way at the end. In the middle section the river is blocked for restoration purposes.
The jogger should be fine as long as youve got larger wheels, we used to take ours all the time. As far as baby friendly, there are lots of off leash dogs, so you just need to be watchful. They're mostly really friendly, but even the friendly ones can knock a baby down easily. During the summer id recommend weekdays or really early morning to avoid the chaos when its really busy.
