The farmer's market seemed so streamlined and clean this time.

Nice park in the downtown area. They have a Farmers' Market on Saturdays that could be fun for many visitors. There are restaurants around the park with good food. The park itself has playgrounds and other areas to play sports.

It's close to me and dog friendly. The Farmers Market is fabulous. They don't have benches though. No place to rest.

Pioneer park is a square city block.
What Benjamin said is sadly true. I would only add that there have been reports of used hypodermic needles found in the grass around the park.
