We had a fantastic family reunion on July 30th. The pavilion was clean and tidy. The restrooms however....yuk! We had to use the bathrooms in businesses adjacent to the park.

I would give this park 6 stars if I could. One of the most beautiful views in Salt Lake. In the park I really enjoy running, cycling, or going for a stroll to take in the views and/or a sunset. Connects with Parleys Trail on the south end of the park, which is ideal for a longer run or bike ride.

Large park with great views all around. Great place for sports or just walking/running

This park is a nice city park to have right around the corner! It doesn't have as much tree cover as other parks in SLC (i.e. Liberty Park), but is pretty open. I tend to walk my dog here most days in the spring-fall. A nice walking section of the road (almost 1.5 mile loop) and nice views of the pond and the mountains. Usually a fair amount of people around playing with dogs, ultimate frisbee, kickball, or other activities. It also has a small community garden (that I'm not sure how to use). Definitely recommend.

Why do you ask? Did you hear something that makes you think they wouldn't?You have me worried they won't. The most popular spot is north hill near the pond. Park far away. Get there before breakfast for the best spot. There's better, less crowded spots but you'll need to get me liquored to divulge.
Sorry, no fishing. No fish, either.
I'm guessing they close. I'm sorry I don't have a definite answer, but it's been my experience that park bathrooms close down when it starts getting colder.
SugarHouse Park
Go to https://www.slco.org/parks/ click the "Reservations and Rentals" tab. Scroll down to Sugar House Park Pavilion Resevations. There are some instructions there. You can also go in person to the Salt Lake County Park Operations Office in West Jordan.
it is m-f you're welcome to walk through
I would recommend you have your dog on a leash as there are usually ducks and ducklings walking around.
You can metal detect all you want, but if you wanted to start digging it would probably get you some attention and most likely a fine or citation of some sort.
There is a warning not to even touch the water. Def don't want to fish in it.
I don't believe so they don't want any cars parked there overnight.
No, you can at Fairmont park
I don't think you can but you could probably put it in a mug.
I was there the week before last, and yes there are a lot of people, but it's a big park and not difficult to social distance. As for there path, it's a little bigger than a one lane road, but I'm a little less sure about that.
See
No, no fishing pond
I have seen them, but I'm not sure if they're on.
Check for signs in Sugarhouse park. If it doesn't say fireworks are banned you can light them there.
Call 8014671721 to reserve your spot for sugar house park pavilion. Hope that helps if so like my comment
No its pretty dark during the night
Yes, there is no duck patrol to stop you. I have seen several people feed them.
Not sure about the variety but there are nice trees around the park.
Was just there on Friday, there was a big sign that said no firework show this year :(
I think the only concern would be helipads in the area... usually hospitals. You can just notify them you will be flying during whatever time window. It you arent flying too high I may not even worry about it. Utah State has an awesome drone program and they are very willing to answer any questions if you just give them a call.
Located nearest to the pond and the sleigh-riding hill. Its called Fabian lakeside pavilion
They go south for the winter
Was it remodeled
