this is one of my most preferred YMCA locations to go to, it’s a little small but it has most of the stuff you need for a good workout. A little observation is: some staff members at the front desk can be quite unfriendly sometimes. Personally I try to be friendly when coming in or out by saying hi/bye but they act like they’re deaf and don’t say anything back. 👍🏻

Whatever you do avoid putting your kids in this daycare. I’m a stay at home mom and I usually take my daughter to the east Boston library and the park and see them all the time. And I see how they treats and talk down to the kids they watch. Is awful, Verbally violent, disturbing, and Discouraging the kids. Next time I need to take a video so all the parents can see how awful they treats theses kids. There’s usually 2 same lady that watched the kids. The really rude one is an older caucasian Women in her 50th she look like she does drug, im surprise they hire her. And the other one she is a younger Latin girl a little over weight she always look unhappy and miserable. She doesn’t do anything when she see how the Caucasian lady talk to the kids. They both look like they hate kids and hate their job. Your kids are with them 40-50 hours a week this will destroy their learning, growing and development. Beware where you leave your kids.

The staff are genuinely just great people. They're sweet, their hospitable, their knowledgeable! Every time I had questions or curiosities, they'd always be up to help out. Had a gym membership here, and it was a great value for what I got. Be aware of the clause that states you have to pay the next month if it's within 25 days of canceling. That sucked and should never have been a policy

The whole gym is a bit small, and there is often a wait for the machines in the early evening. Having said that, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the classes are a lot of fun. A nice, if simple neighborhood Y.
