I was scheduled for an interview they decided to cancel last minute under false pretenses and when i called to genuinely figure out the disconnect Alison Fernandez was beyond rude. She failed to sent me the address and person i would be interviewing with until the previous day, so i booked a client to make cash to survive smh. Very unprofessional!

Some of the staff is ok and I get my mail there which is great. There's always rifraff there! They have tons of services but you will need to do alot of work yourself. They will lead you to good possibilities. Watch out for Rapid Rehousing.... It's not the greatest nor the honest way of renting. If you earn a lower wage great, but if you make a decent living it's a full scam between the landlord and these agencies..ex pine, women's lunch and st Francis. Your rent is 1k month and you pay 30% of your income. Well guess what if your 30% falls in the higher bracket then you will easily pay OVER 1k month. Woo that sure makes the landlord happy. Who the hell wants to pay Abit extra for rent? I'm talking 1200, 1500, 2000 when we all agree on 1k smh. Then there's the cut that your worker gets or whoever connected you. But ahhh we aren't suppose to know!!!!! Boom that's how you hustle homeless people. You do the math! When I was last there a nice young lady "white" asked to exchange a shirt that was given to her. It was too small and when she placed it down on the counter the people behind the desk lied and said she threw the shirt at them. Well she was surrounded by severallllll black dudes. Wow! Really.... I could see the hurt and shame in her face. She still didn't get loud after that. She politely asked for the women's name at the clothing desk and they flat out told her that she wasn't getting her name. She has every right to file a grievance as I suggest anyone do. Alot of these places will not respect you. But hey blame it on the ignorant individuals who actually did cause trouble. If something like that happens to you, definitely file a grievance and take it as far as you can to be heard. It helps if you are sober because these unfair habits will repeat unless you are in a good mind set to fight back. I am newly homeless and believe me these organizations won't care if you are educated or have been successful in the past. This is your present and everyone is seen as dumb addicts basically so sober up or stay clean! Including methadone and Suboxone.... don't even accept these government highs. Please!!!!! Yes I'm black and I saw a few complaints below from white individuals and I can back them up sadly. They're are tooooo many racist blacks in Boston in a whole! I had to watch whites get treated differently than blacks if the worker was black as well. Being newly homeless it came as a shock to see the table drastically turn between races. I witnessed whites get kicked out of shelters for drugs while if you're black and it's another black worker they may give you a warning. At pine a white women who needed a psy ward was thrown out after an argument. The poor thing needed help outside of a shelter and it was clear that she could not function on her own but no one really helped. Then she snapped and boom on the streets she went again. If you are reading this please consider investing in yourself -youtube (section8consultant). I did and it helped alot. I was so happy to have found him. Move out of homelessness and back into life!

Very helpful. I thank those who work to cure the covid from adversely changing our lives , city and our country. No one likes to live in fear , or paralysis by illness . pray to be strong and survive this covid and thank God for what good strength we can all learn to pull together and live and learn. Share what good to be more helpful and all can live with that deal with adversity and problems without falling grace be that knock away at our problems was always for saving face and saving grace being honest or truthful is not being under estimated by what stopped alot and created no progress when we learn to live by good rules and know when to hold correction. Serenity Now. Is nothing to short of mind and in pursuit of happiness and what good right is by good rules is golden as any educational skill and functionally correct social skill or management its well of us all to respect life without those who take us over the alter to altercate for loss . We all lived with a hurdle some time in our lives. We should all live to be essential and work together essential workers and be more productive for goals such as quality of life and better every day , as woe is the world when there is alot of troubles. Thank every one when they can be more helpful . Doctors too, police and fire dept all walks of life , we have all been affected.

Hard when you feel helpless and find yourself homeless when you service individuals everyday. I cannot say enough about the staff and the services they provide. St.Francis offers help to all populations without discrimination. The help that they offered me amd my husband was amazing 👏 although our system is formed to fund certain people, the staff there help, even if to just give you resources hope and to let you know someone cares.. I wish I could rate more I wish even more the staff nothing but blessings. Thank you guys and keep up the great work

Right now they're not taking donations.
St.Francis House is a"day shelter" It doesn't offer overnight beds. Try Pine street Inn shelter or 112 Southampton, shelter for beds.
They will buy you a bus ticket for once to another city.
