This place is the BEST, the employees are extremely helpful and polite, along with being affordable! They let us finish the last three puzzles even though we ran out of time which was an amazing end to our night. Definitely going back in the future!

I purchased this escape room from Groupon originally and got a great deal, however I did not get a good experience from it. Upon arrival from the outside it looked decent and entering the room it looked legit. When the escape room started is when my party and myself became discouraged. There was no direction what so ever as to what to do and where to begin. The clues were very vague and troublesome because they did not elaborate or provide any type of assistance. We were allowed two hints and after using them right at the beginning we still had no idea what the hell we were doing. Needless to say we did not Finish the room, I paid for 60 mins and it was set to only 50 mins. At the end we found out that the room that we had chosen was one of the toughest rooms. It did not state that when we purchased it. I have done escape rooms before and this experience was nothing like what we have participated in before. It lacked any sort of edge and was more complicated then it should have been and we will not be going back. In Maine we do escape rooms for the customer not for the business, think about that….take care of the customer and make it a memorable experience not all about the money.

Been to many escape rooms and this has been the least impressive. Aside from the props and clues being very lazily done, the person overseeing the game never knew what step of the process we were at. So every time we needed to ask for a clue, we had to recount every single thing we had done so far to the employee. There was only one type of puzzle in the game- boxes with locks on, nothing else. In addition to this, it was very easy to do the clues out of order, making it even more confusing to ask for hints to progress. (Most good escape rooms I've been to were linear.)

This was the most disappointing place that I've ever been to. We did the escape from Alcatraz room. The person at the front desk was very boring and slow. You need someone with a better personality to hype up the people before they get in the room. But that didn't make any difference because the room was dirty and very basic. We found three keys out of 10. The first two we found almost immediately and there were so many boxes in the room that had to be unlocked and the clues were absolutely terrible. Our 50 minutes in the room was such a waste of money. We asked for two clues which we were allowed, and she made it look like it was no big deal and it was so easy. But the fact of the matter is that they were impossible to decipher. We will never go back. People don't waste your money.
