Idk if they're low on staff or what, but our site was in rough shape when we arrived. Wood shavings near empty in outhouse. Fishing hooks scattered about the site. We spent time collecting trash while foraging mushrooms. I love the spot. It deserves better tending.

Lovely spot, very quiet pond
Learning As I Grow
A little water at the beginning but we were able to get around it and have a nice walk around the pond. Markings are terrible and you just pop out at some random lean too sites with o si eage for an exit. All and all was a good time

Yes great area
Yes you just have a 100 yard walk carrying it out the trail to get to the pond from the parking area
You can bring your dog however, if you go over to boulder beach they don't allow them there.
