Probably the best experience I’ve had with Pep Boys, most of the past issues I’ve had has revolved being charged for warranties and road side assistance and things like that that I’ve told them upfront I didn’t want (not this location). I purchased the product and paid online, I scheduled the service at time of payment, this location honored my appointment time, and I was very pleased. Would recommend this location.

This latest experience is why I will never use pep boys again and the reason was years ago was told needed multiple repairs done. I left with the work order and went to my mechanic and he said not one of those things needed fixed. Which brings us to this experience. I went to Tampa to get a tite fixed, by the time I got back from Tampa to st Pete it was flat again. I went to the Pinellas park location where I had issues years ago, since I paid extra to get any time fixed under their warranty, I stopped here and they were sooo rude and was like your gonna have to leave the car for 5 hours before it can get fixed. Mind you this was pep boys issues from day before so, that should of been a priority. I reached out to dorporate, who told me I would hear from a manager. 2 1/2 hours later and still no call from them. If you do go in guarantee you, whatever u bring it in for, you will need other repairs cause this is their scam. Just went back to the Tampa location who is right on it. And just witnessed it in action twice, one trying to charge a poor old guy 1800. Glad the person he spoke with told him to bring the car back home. Again, don't use this store for any of your tire n brake needs you will be broke as heck and regret it.

Came in to Pep Boys to have tires put on that I ordered online. I made an appointment and got right in and they went to work on it. The little Hub cover on my Toyota Sequoia broke though. Clint said that his mechanic told him it was broken when my vehicle came in, but since the mechanic didn't mention it as soon as it was pulled in, Clint I went ahead and ordered a replacement for me rather than haggling over whether it was broke when it came in or broke during the tire change. I'm very impressed with that kind of integrity!

6492 Park Blvd Pinellas Park, FL 33781 My Chevy PU started running rough and stalling out. Pep Boys was only five blocks away, so I managed to get it to their lot, and explained my problem at the front desk. I was told there was a $99 diagnostic charge which I agreed to pay. Twenty minutes later a technician pulled it into a bay an popped the hood. Two other technicians came over and all three stood around talking and pointing at my engine. As I watched through the waiting room window I did not see any test equipment or tools used. After about twenty minutes the man at the front desk came in and said they found the trouble and he would write up an estimate. It took him thirty minutes to write up an estimate. When I finally got the estimate I was floored. They told me the manifold needed to be replaced and all my fuel injectors needed replacing along with a number of other items. They told me it was an eight hour job and would cost me over $2100. I left Pep Boys and managed to get my truck three blocks away to a privately owned repair shop that I've heard good things about. The Mechanic came out and I told him the symptoms. He popped the hood and two minutes later said you have a cracked PCV valve. He happened to have a replacement in his shop and ten minutes later I was on the road. My truck has run great ever since, and the best part-there was no charge. The diagnostic charge was paid on 2/9/22. On 2/11/22 I went back to the shop and requested a refund because their diagnosis was wrong. I was told they could not give a refund at the shop but would contact management. 2/12/22 Contacted Discover Card and disputed charge. 3/1/22 I have yet to hear back from them.

They are a full service repair shop. I would imagine that they could replace them.

No they will help you as you come in. They even sent me home in a Lyft and then had me brought back once the car was ready.
You'll have to apply at Location or Online. This is a Google sourced support system you're currently using. Although they do hire quite frequently.
