It's a great place that's trying to help the community. It's sad to see negative comments from a few people who benefits off the programs,that's just trying to help.

The friendly house housing unit on 70 james street is horrible. I was told by the director that because I'm poor and my family lives on income based housing that we deserve the bare minimum for an apartment. Apparently bare minimum means lead paint with children, hundreds of thousands of mice. no working toilet for 6 months. And black mold in the bathroom and kitchen. Definitely would not recommend to anyone. They dont care about the families they are tasked with caring for. They contract out to slumlords who's buildings are condemnable

These guys here are doing a wonderful job and extending a helping hand to many. I applaud what they do. Chanced in there on the summer. Great youth activities and services

Yes... They also have the big brother/ sister program there too that they can participate in
Depending on the school zone ask the school.
You can go any day and register yourself and they gave you day for you to go
All community services that Friendly House provides begins at 9 a.m. and ends at 4 p.m. all program start in between that time and finish around that time if you want specific time frames for specific programs that they have on that time and day just give them a call and they'll be happy to give you that information
Yes they help you , there are so many post there
The house is open daily for so many others issues and just only Monday ,Wednesday and Friday for food pick up
