My family has been fostering cats from Mimi's Rescue for years. Mimi truly has a heart of gold and wants what's best for the cats she looks after. The rescue is willing to help out after the adoption as well, which has made a huge difference in mine and my cats lives. As a cat mom and cat lover, I appreciate all Mimi does for the fur babies she looks after.

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank my dear friend, Emily, who in my estimation is the person that gives Mimi's rescue its wonderful reputation. Emily brought my new companion, named Buddy, to my doorstep in person with all necessary documentation and items required for his stay. Emily takes her work very seriously and the love she shares for her adoptable kittens and more adult cats is always her number one priority. I am of an age where it is difficult to run from shelter to shelter, hoping the cat I wanted to see was still available. Emily knew what I was looking for and brought me my most wonderful companion in person. Buddy is 12 years old (I was looking for an older more settled cat) and is so very clever, well trained and so very knowledgeable. He brings me new joy each new day. He is always by my side and the love we share knows no boundaries. So thank you, again, Emily, I hope the holidays bring you joy, and I wish you continued luck and support in finding loving and appropriate homes you so diligently seek for all parties concerned. .

Emily is the most delightful woman who loves cats more than anyone I've seen. She met with us and the potential kittens and foster mom for quite a while. She is careful where she puts her babies and doesn't just adopt them out to get rid of them quickly. I am going to have a richer life with the 3 precious kittens that I'm adopting and the foster mom loves each furbaby as her own. I feel like I have gained 2 friends in these ladies and it was the most beautiful experience. Get to know her, trust the process and you won't be disappointed. If you want a slam, bam, thank you maam adoption go elsewhere. She wants to match each baby to the proper parent.

I have meet this women twice and have watched how she conducts herself with people and how much she makes sure that whoever adopts her cats are the best possible parents. She cares deeply about these animals and dedicates a great deal of her life and personal money in helping unwanted and stray cats find homes. When I read the previous review, I couldn’t believe the nerve of this women. I have owned cats for close to 25 years. I have also meet several of the cats she brings to places for adoption. When I’m in the market for another cat, she is the one person I will look to find a beautiful little fur ball. Just a few weeks ago I saw a couple sitting with two of her cats (brother and sister) at Petco and she was interviewing them as they were spending time with the cats. It took quite sometime, but both parties were doing what they needed to insure a good match. It’s unfortunate that people will give a poor rating just because you don’t bend over backwards because they have an issue. If you meet Emily for just a few minutes, you would know what I’m talking about. We need more people like her.
