Literally the worst been trying to call nearly 3-4 days out of the week & haven’t ahold of ANYONE at all yet alone I sent in a security application along with the fingerprints & money order damn near a month ago and haven’t heard nothing at all nor received anything back yet. This is why everyone’s leaving NY. If I could give less than 1 star that’s exactly what I’d do.

Such a disgrace. I just recently graduated and applied for my temp cosmetology license and it has been ALMOST 2 MONTHS and I have yet to even receive my paper license!!!! Seriously this is unbelievable NY!! Just unbelievable!

It's been 8 months since I've submitted my 8 and 16 hour OJT hours for renewal of my NYS security license. The last time I called they said they haven't received the 16 hour I called the school and they said they resubmitted it and I'm still waiting months later. After waiting for an hour and you finally speak to someone they hang up on you. God bless if you're able to get through. It's as if you're begging them for information on your license. Governor Hochul please investigate this place it's atrocious how they deal with people 😡😡

Everyone in this department should be ashamed of themselves. You work for the public, but you are completely inaccessible to the public? I’ve been reaching out via phone, mail and email for almost 2 months. Zero responses, zero explanations, and zero excuses. NY state employees are the bottom of the barrel; end of the food chain maggots, sucking us all dry while they take a paycheck they don’t deserve even a little. Does it make you feel powerful to ignore your community and make our lives just *a little* more difficult with your incompetency? Pathetic, droning, useless sacks.

Yes 36 dollar money order for license and 99 dollar money order for finger prints
The only thing you need to take is the 8 hour annual and finger prints
