I was so grateful to be able to get my winter tires changed without an appointment. The sudden need for a long drive south had come up and I otherwise would have needed to do the drive with the snows on. The service was prompt. The people were friendly. The waiting space and WiFi were great to get some work done. I couldn't recommend Vermont Tire and Service -Montpelier more highly.

Everyone knows how getting a changeover to winter tires is essential when it starts to snow. Vermont Tire & Service does not make tire changeover appointments, instead they are first come, first served, and they have limited number of slots each day. That usually means you’ve got to be there at opening or soon after, because there is such a demand in November. I’ve got to get my kids to school in the morning, so I stopped in about an hour after opening, not really expecting that they would still have a slot for a tire changeover, but they were able to fit me in! Thank you! Now I am more safe on the snowy roads, and the price was reasonable, too!

Excellent service. With such high demand for new tires at the start of winter, I can understand the choice to provide service on a first come first serve basis. Though, I think a reservation system with a voluntary wait-list to fill any cancellations/vacancies would more efficient for the customer and still efficient for Vermont Tire.

We had an issue with a leaky valve stem on our Mini Cooper. We tried several tire shops to get the valve replaced. A couple did not have the correct part and one told me he didn’t have time to mess with a small job. This dealer worked us into their busy schedule to get it done. They weren’t certain they had the correct valve on hand. I was told at another shop that some of the local auto parts store may have the valve I needed. Advanced Auto Parts did have one their computer system said was a match. Bought it just in case. As it turned out this shop did not have the correct part on hand so installed the one I bought as it was correct. This shop then only charged me a very minimum fee for installing the one I bought. They were great, friendly and extremely helpful. I would highly recommend them for your vehicle tire needs!

Do you work with rims? My front right rim has scratches on it and I wanted to know if you could fix it.
