Great question. It is always good to see others thinking about this. Montpelier had a mask requirement before our state mandated it and we were one of the early states to do so. On the streets of Montpelier, you seldom see someone without a mask on. We have a state-dictated limit on customers coming inside (dogs don't count against it) Since last April, we have had hand sanitizer outside the store for customer use. Most choose to do so. I sanitize my check out counter after every sale. It is hard to explain, but I also have baskets in front of the counter that place an additional two feet between customers and me. And.... I had my first shot two weeks back. (Sigh of relief) Of course, I will be keeping my mask on until the governor advises retailers to shed it. He and his department heads hold two weekly COVID press conferences that are on radio. The retailers up here follow the press conferences and take state guidelines seriously. Stop in.
