Bloomingdale’s is a scam. I had a manageable credit limit and had no problems making minimum or better payments. Due to unforeseen financial issues (with Covid etc.) Bloomingdale’s decided to drop my credit limit. Mind you I have never missed a payment and had a plan. When they did that my minimum payment sky rocketed to over 1000. Are you kidding. Causing me to only still make less than that monthly to keep it current but accruing more interest making the minimum to go up each month making it harder to catch up which is what they are hoping. Please stop supporting this greedy over priced company.

I found it quite interesting that in clothing lines I found X of Paris, or X of London with quite hefty price tags on then clothes. But then if you look at labels you'll find 'made in China'. I looked numerous places around the store and yep, found 'made in China all over the store. I'm not into buying stuff just because it came from Bloomingdale's, or that it has a fancy product name on it, and definitely if it has a gawd awful inflated price on something made in China. Ridiculous.

For many years I would not have dreamed of going into a store like this, but I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of price points and the welcoming staff.

I usually have a pleasant experience shopping there. Cosmetic / perfume department is nice and staff are knowledgeable. Clothing department is smaller selection compare to what it used to be ( due to the lack of production and shortages everywhere and is not the store’s fault ), but still a decent selection. I bought a beautiful brand name light jacket a few days ago, which is a great value. Interaction with staff and with the lady assisting me was pleasant and everyone was professional and helpful.
