Most of the 5 star reviews are fake! The Princess Martha has no consideration for the residents nor the employees. Completely unsafe as well. Numerous safety code violations. Management has no idea what they're doing.

From the moment you walk in, the Historical Renaissance Ambience sweeps you away into a mystical timeless presence of beauty, history and preservation. Then the real magic happens as the foundation of The Princess Martha, the residents fill the area. It is a sense of magic, family, and welcoming that any resident would experience. The experience is evident in the staff of The Princess Martha as well, as I am a proud member of the team that is graced with the experience to share my life, with the residents. This experience has truly been like no other. Wether your a resident, staff member or visitor, you will certainly embrace, and be comforted by your time at The Princess Martha.

The most gorgeous premiere retirement community I have ever seen. The history and gorgeous decor inside is a delight. My grandfather lived at this building during the last year of his life. The Princess Martha and their team created a fun, exciting environment for him to live in all the way up to the end. He loved being in downtown St. Pete and close to his family. He loved the caring staff, and made some incredible friends while he was there. I would recommend the Princess Martha to anyone looking for a retirement community for themselves or their loved ones.

The Princess Martha is not only a historic building, it is a beautiful building with so much character and life and many stories that fill it. It’s a fantastic place to work, a home away from home for employees. The residents are just fantastic and they love it here. My grandparents moved in here a year ago and it was the best decision of their life. Amazing place! Come check it out!

How is the parking for those in the short stay time there?

Shirley Larkey | Aug 27, 2018
The Princess Martha | Aug 26, 2021

We have a parking garage attached to our building which allows our residents and seasonal guests to enjoy covered parking year round! With limited availability being downtown, there is an additional cost to rent a parking space.

How are the meals

They are the equivalent to hot school lunch. It’s disgusting. I worked in the kitchen and witnessed the health code violations on a daily bases while the cooks prepared food. This is one of the MANY reasons I left.

The Princess Martha is pet friendly. The rent includes meals, basic cable, water, electricity along with the apartment. There are also activities every day. Also, scheduled bus trips for shopping. My mom is 90 and really enjoys it. There are folks from 55 up to 98 that live there. Many have disabilities.

I am worried about your resident IAN FROST. His partner Bill Studdiford died a few months ago. Since then I have not been able to make contact with him by phone. Am worried. Please can you help- we have been friends for 25 years in UK.Thanks

Hi Viv, I am happy to report that Ian Frost is alive and well here at The Princess Martha. It is true that the passing of Bill has been devastating to Ian. But I promise you, this loving and supportive community that Bill and Ian have called "home" for nearly 5 years, has been helping Ian in every way possible. He is not alone during his grief, and has many friends and neighbors to lean on. I know his phone number has changed but I will let him know you would like to connect with him.
