The Traveling Turtles
I will first start off by saying that you should arrive early to this event - as it is in more of a residential area of Downtown Orlando - thus parking can be on the difficult side. We have an oversized pickup truck and we had to find a private lot taking payments for parking as the garages would just not work out well. The park that this farmers market is located at is beautiful. You can walk all the way around it as it is a complete circle around a lake. My reasoning behind only a 3 star rating is that I find that most farmers markets now a days are leaving behind what most (at least myself) envision when I visit a farmers market. There was only 1 tent with roughly 10 tables showcasing local fruit and vegetables and it was a poor selection in my opinion. The rest was fried foods, crazy unique drinks and vendors selling things. I wish there were more local merchants here, more fruit, more vegetables and more that represented the area in which the market was held.

A nice place to walk around, people watch and take some pictures of the swans swimming in Lake Eola. There were some great food options and you can even get some fresh coconut.

Absolutely love this place!!! So many vendors, all small local businesses, a wide variety of food, music and so much more!!! I love that you can bring your dog and there are plenty of open spaces to lay a blanket down and people watch or whatever you feel like doing!! It's every Sunday from 10-3pm so it's a nice little outing for you with your mate, friends and/or family!!!

My, my, my. Have you ever dreamed of lying on a blanket in the shade of a huge oak tree next to a beautiful lake on a warm summer’s day? Imagine the aroma of fresh kettle corn luring you toward farmer’s market stalls along the sidewalks next to the shady grass you’re resting on. Every Saturday there’s an eclectic and fun Farmer’s Market (with almost 0 farm produce 😂) along one side of Lake Eola. Among the offerings are wonderful artisan breads, fruit smoothies, lemonade, kettle corn, delicious ethnic foods, county fair vittles, leather goods, clothing, dog vests, collars and leashes, paintings, glass and clay art works, jewelry - costume and fine, incense, jams, sauces, etc. and so on! Lake Eola itself is a lovely lake in the heart of downtown Orlando. Take a walk along the pretty path around the lake and you can see a huge iconic fountain that many will recognize, a large rainbow pavilion, a small amphitheater, and a beautiful sculpture of flying white birds along the shore, as well as a stunning view of part of the downtown Orlando skyline. Stray a bit from the path and you can find stately old homes nearby. Bottom line? Orlando can be inordinately proud of this sweet, well-maintained, swan-infested lake. I enjoy it every time I go, no matter what the occasion!

They are currently at capacity but if you follow the website over there is a space for that.
Look on side street in the neighborhood. You will find parking
I believe it's simply savory gourmet dips
I've never seen anyone there selling milk. Cheese yes. Milk, no.
Contact the city of Orlando, they should be able to answer your questions.
I don’t know about vendor list but every week it’s typically the same. Food stands from sauces, to BBQ, seafood, coffee, vegetarian, crepes, bakery, a whole selection. And then there are artists from woodwork to clothing to paintings etc. Couple fresh produce and plant stalls. Great vibe and lots of dogs too
High winds across the lake and all day rain because of the tents .The decision is not easy and last minute.
Hopefully when we show up tomorrow, they will tell us we dont have to wear them...
I was there last Sunday, bought some persimmons and found only one purple carrot. I got a packet of mixed colored carrots for Christmas. I'm on my way out the door to get some parsley seeds, the most nutritious plant on Earth. Cilantro and spinach are right up there too. My New Year's resolution is to juice my way back to health.
No
No ma'am. Closed until further notice
You usually have to have a business license in order to host a booth there but you can always email them and ask, they'll get back to you pretty quickly.
Anyone would for the right price.
Yes
I believe that it will. But not sure.
That would be up to the individual vendor
Not sure, a friend of mine doesn't set up her plants when it's a steady rain
They’re open on Sundays from 10am-4pm
Yes
I don't think so. It is not a real farmer's market. Thanks
Just tap on the website and it will guide you to the registration page. But right now they don't have aNY space available.
Yes, the park allows dogs to be there but they have to be leashed.
No, there are just some vendor stalls along an area of the lake. You are welcome to bring your own but none are provided.
Parking is anywhere on the street. Meter parking is free on Sunday. Also some people have private lots so they charge $5 or $10 to park. Do not park at Publix since they will tow your car in 1 hour and if your not a publix customer.
Most accept credit cards
They only do it Sundays
