Lifeguard , bouy swimming area. Bad part is how bad the sea grass is. Makes for sand flea heaven. Plenty of bait fish to net . Overall decent spot. Mind the wildlife as it's brackish in Florida. Aka gators snakes etc.

Nice small sized beach with a pavilion and charcoal grills. Bathrooms are nearby. Water is roped off from boaters which is nice. And parking is ample.

This is a delightful beach park with great views! Awesome low key beach to hang out and swim with the kids, and maybe even spy a dolphin!

I love taking my son here to play and to go fishing!! Lots of open parking, playground, pavilions, and a view you can't beat! It even has a dog park if that's your thing, too!! A cute little park off the beaten path worth stopping by.

Anclote river park does not allow pets. Anclote GULF park does. That one is the one with the fishing Pier.
Yes you can, just note, you will mostly find poptops. But, that is good to get rid of them. Happy hunting.
Yes but its cheap or free for Fl residents. Also if you have an EBT/SNAP card, u dont need a license to fish just pay attention to the laws on what you r allowed to catch at the time youre there and size requirements to keep
Nice beach and swimming. Floats allowed.
Yes Reccenter @ keyvista
Great for swimming..nice and warm. Sandbars are high enough...water is shallow enough to walk over to different areas. Great shelling
Just read the water is testing excessively high for fecal bacteria ewwww The Florida Department of Health in Pasco County has issued a water quality advisory for Anclote River Park Beach as a result of a water sampling done Aug. 26. (Pasco County )
No. The closest that I can think of is Moon Lake Park. It don’t have a wash station but you could use their boat ramp for free & dip it in fresh water
You can go to Howard Park in Pinellas county to take your dog in the water, not in Pasco county.
Yes, there is still a Swim Advisory for Anclote River Par. The next Health Dept. testing date is August 9th.
Depends on which section of the beach you go to. There are three on the main beach and then you have other beaches that have two or three on them so in all you have two or three beach areas with picnic pavilions.
There is no reservations just make sure you get there early to lock in your spot
There are no bus routes to this beach. The closest you can get is around US 19 and Alt 19, and from there it's still a few miles.
yes just stay to the right of the swim area and follow no wake signs your good enjoy your day
No you do not. The facilities for the use of the boat ramp are open 24/7 for boaters to use. You can even purchase a parking pass for the boat ramp for up to 7-days.
NO. The boat ramp stays open 24/7, but the park has separate gates that do close at dusk. Make sure not to park inside the park after dusk. When you go in, make sure you take your time & read the signs.
While I have never seen anyone scallop in that Park there is an area off the beach where people do go and fish and they snorkel. I do not know if you can scalloped there. Scalloping in Pasco county ends tomorrow anyway so for this season there is no more scallops
I agree, the grills are all over and some benches and tables too. But only two pavillons
The ospreys are near the boat ramp and the eagles are closer to the power plant.
No ,sorry. But only 1/4 mile away is Miss Vickie's by the sea. Now this is only the coolest little restaurant bilt literally around oak tree. They only serve lunch and dinner and they close at 10. Miss Vicky's restaurant serves great food cold beer. No alcohol besides beer and wine. What is a cozy spot literally a couple steps away from the park. You'll have to look for Miss Vickie's as it is hidden in the back of a dry dock Marina. Enjoy.
The river park isnt the one with the pier, thats anclote gulf park. We fish from the river edge (wading) or kayaking. Last time we were at rhe gulf park, the pier is open 24 hours.
Not by the water. Key vista has a trail that leads to the water. I have seen dogs there alot.
I haven't seen any in fall but they are making improvements.
Brackish. It's a mixture of salt and fresh where the river starts to intermix with the gulf.
No permit needed. There's no fee for launching but you pay to park your truck & trailer
Yes. 365 days a year. First come first serve for pavillions but new children's playground, boat ramp. Beach, fishing, horse shoe area. There is a lot there. Not to mention the nature there
The Day-Use area is open from 6:00AM to Sunset, As of now that's 8:30PM. The actual boat-ramps & docks are open 24/7 to the public for active launching and retrieving of boats.
